I case you were wondering how I am spending iPeace Day. I will drive now to Beer Sheva, my home town, to pick up my parents and bring them over to my house. My father is 87 and has difficulty walking, my mother is 78. There is just no possible way for them to get to a safe place in the 45 seconds which take a missle to get from Gaza to their house.

Since early this morning 5 Grad missiles fired by Hamas from Gaza hit my home town. One of them hit a class room at my high school (picture on top). Luckily school day was canceled because of the missiles and no one was hurt.

I was hoping for a happier iPeace Day for myself and for all of iPeace Palestinian members. maybe next year.

I refuse to lose hope. We need to find a way to talk to our Palestinian cousins. War will never be the solution.

I wish the rest of you can share your peace happily.

Good Year to all , and in name of all who have had the fortune to be here THANK YOU DAVID for making a difference. For being alive, May all the rays of light of all members of ipeace protect you and our loved ones, alowing all to come saftly to our homes. This New Years I went on a 30 min. drive up the mountain were all was dark and the only sounds were a bunch o Coyotes and Crikets. I went to Meditation Mount were a group gathered to recive 2009 in Meditacion for Humanity. Sending our energy of light we all are, and the unity makes the fource of healing . We wrote on a yellow paper the bad things of 2008 and then burned that paper. Representing fire cleans and the opportunity of Now the Moment our best gift ( even the word PRESENT ) says it all. In a blue paper our 2009 intentions but not for us , but for praying for others. May the people who lost a loved one understand that he or she is not fisically pesent but always in spirit with us. For the ones who are in prison , and who are being unfarly judge....makes you think for whom today our Divine Love. Recive it David you are worth reciving The Divine Love .

Dear David:
My admiration, too.
Talking about peace, when you live in a peaceful place, is easy.
But you don't use the word "revenge", keep your idea of a better world. You're making the difference.
God bless you

We thought that after the calamity of the first world war, humain beings would understand the horrible outcomes of the scene! No, they did the same bleeding once more during the second world war, Europe, Asia; Africa, America... and they are still killing, destroying and sheding tears. What is disgusting is that everytime those trouble makers; at the top of these countries; sit down and negotiate. Wow! After what? Blood, orphans, distructions... The innocent populations are always the victimes of this horrible and nasty games. Please, stop it: Start with negotions! Forget about wars. We, population of the globle world, have enough of your silly games. We are peaceful humain beings who want to live and let live. Instead of spreading hatered, weapons, poisons all over the world, build schools and go back to them to understand the basic principles of life. Character Education and its traits are the cornestones of this global village. Respect, tolerance, love, responsibility, integrity, sincerety, courage, compassion, tto name a few are the catchy words. Abnigation should be the key word. Think of the others. None is superior. None is inferior. WE ARE DIFFERENT. With PEACE and LOVE life will be better; won't it?

Comment by Karen 1 day ago that Raven referred to: I have been on this site for a brief time. I did not think we were here to argue different sides of the issues, especially today. The way to find world peace is inner peace. "The problems of the world must ultimately be solved where they began--in consciousness." The only cause of suffering is the ego. I am determined to stay out of my ego and live only in my heart.... Much love to all!!! With humility,,,,Karen

January 1, 2009, Raven Cohan says…
After my long dance career which I moved out of in the year 2000, I JOKE that the only place I get to dance is in the aisles of the supermarket to the MUZAK. Last night we had a NEW YEAR's Block Party out doors only steps from the beach. (Where at midnight we watched fireworks...) Our neighborhood association hired a tent and a Dee Jay with whom I performed witha few times over nearly twenty years. He also performed his own shows like I did. He provided great music for our dancing and for kids playing... So I did dance my buns.... not off, but I danced them back ON...
This morning two students came to my beach class at 7:30 am... I didn't have expectation that many would show. That's okay. Peace begins with enough sleep. I got up at my usual 6:00 am feeling energized despite later to bed by two hours. I always meditate on peace every day, but I did direct my class to a special New Years perspective of peace that, in my book, begins within... So Greatly WITHIN!!!! I salute Karen above me in the belief of peace within our chosen concious development... Keep up Your pathway to your peace, today and every day.... Happily...Raven Cohan
