On freedom of speech, emotionally driven personal attacks, and horror visuals.

iPeace prides itself on being a free space for sharing ideas, opinions and information.

But we have and uphold certain standards. We will not allow posting of explicit horror images of war. We don't need to see it to realize that war is horrific.

We understand also that emotions in these days are running high. But we will not tolerate personal attacks between members.

We ask you to help us in keeping the iPeace space civilized and report to one of the admins any violation.

Praying for more peaceful days

If the fight against the war is only fight against the horrors of NOW we are doomed to further suffering in the future..

Putting the graphics upfront stresses the now..not the future.

Understanding the the present constellation (and this means including the past) is also necessary.

Dear David, sending you love, peace, compassion, on this day ... I hold the space here, with you and for you, and continue to visualize and affirm and intend that the miracle of possibility that ipeace represents is in fact manifesting.

I invite all who read this to join me in taking moments throughout the day to softly say or chant the peace mantras of peace, om shanti, salaam, shalom. For those whose first language is not English, I invite you to add or to substitute for the English, your word for peace. So for example, it might be pax, om shanti, salaam, shalom...

Everything is energy, and that includes thoughts and words. Let us build an energy of the sound vibrations of the peace words and direct that energy towards all involved in the conflict in Gaza. This is a form of activism too. It can help; I've seen it help in other situations.

The Burma News Network asked me to be a friend
I was naturally upset to see vivid (very) photographs on their page.
Is this wrong of them to do here?
I'll accept their friendship but at the same time will have to tell them - or will you?

David,
Myron yet again speaks with wisdom.

The Grace and Deep Peace with which you are doing this work is astonishing.
To keep our eyes, hearts and minds open, to try to be instruments of Peace beyond denial is very difficult at this and all times.
I try to "collect" those who have the ability to contain both great sorrow and Joy. I have found that ability in a few. The Dalai Lama, Caesar Chavez, Bishop TuTu, all can/could speak awful truths with compassion, and in the next moment dance with children. I am finding more such souls here.
Please let us know any way we can help you to continue
Bless

David,

IPeace has a difficult goal..and i commend you on the way you are handling it.

IPeace is a place that does not want to be divisive.
On the other hand it should not smear over the divide.
The divide is there to be bridged...
if not with agreement
then at least with civility and empathy

This requires an openess to the Other
Who in honesty seeks to bridge gaps
And opens himself in his pain.

I hope that some of the more "boisterous" members
with agendas learn this lesson here.
