The only way for anyone to find true peace is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus is the "Prince of peace" spoken of in Isaiah 9:6.
In this world we will have tribulation. That's for certain no matter how hard we try to have peace. Each one of us needs to find the only one who can help. His name is Jesus. God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have eternal life. God loves each one of us more than I can say!!
I do hope you'll consider what the Bible says. Darlene

Having experienced oneness with all that is several times in this body I have zero doubt of my oneness with the whole of all that is, which is far greater than any one man (or woman). And most cetainly greater than all of the religions and religious beliefs fostered upon humanity. The infinite and eternal spirit is all that is. We are all parts of the whole. Jesus was a part, as was every great teacher in history and as is every form of life. None greater, nor lesser, for all are within the great creation and within that all is one.

I do not like or appreciate the word "religion", Religion is man reaching to God and doing his utmost to get to Him. God has reached down to man by dying for all of our sin.
When I came to know Jesus as my Savior I knew I was a sinner and I absolutely knew I needed help that no one was able to provide. I heard a still small voice saying "In the beginning God", then "the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". At this point I closed my eyes and said, Father please send Jesus into my life to help me with it. This happened in January of 1974.
This is what is referred to as salvation. There is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved. Jesus really is the way, the truth and the life as He said.

I wrote this poem (it's not great, but it's true).....

By faith, through desperation, many find the way.
The peace He brings is wonderful,
Accept it, it's yours, accept Him, He'll stay.
If you think you can make it on your own, try if you must.
He will be near to light the way, if in Him you'll trust.
His arms outstretched, His shoulder ready for a weary head.
An absolute truth to know, nothing more to dread.

Well spoken Rainbow Hawk. It is really sad that some people still can't see that the blindness of "my religion is the only one" is one of the most negative and powerfull energy in this Planet. It amazes me how some people know Jesus so well, and dare to speak in his name.

The path to peace is not the stating that only one view is the only right view. That path has led to the vast majority of the problems in the world throughout history and today. It pits one religious view against all others and thus cause the divisions of peoples of different faiths.
Long before the bible, Jesus, Budda, Mohammed, Krisna and all of the idols of religious beliefs there was, as there is now, but One Great Spirit that is Infinite & Eternal.
As the Christain bible and it's 10 Commendments so plainly state in it's very beginning and foundation, Set No Gods Before Me. Long long before the time of Jesus was that established as the 1st and foremost Commandment.
