Peace kites at kite fair, Italy

Today in Castiglione del Lago, Perugia, Italy there was a marvelous kite fair. The sky was filled with brightly colored kites of all shapes and sizes. The largest one was the one pictured here, and the theme was PEACE. The word in Italian is PACE (pah-chay). The words happiness, joy, love, friendship, respect are part of the design. This must have been made by students. Once off the ground it received a huge applause by the public.
