Kindred Light


There’s something more upon the shore
Set well within my sight
It seems to harbor all my dreams
Shining clear and bright
A beacon guiding, e’er abiding
An end to endless night
O’er depths plumbed spent souls come
To the realm of Kindred Light

The hope is yet to ever set
The onward course to right
Tested mettle, ease to settle
After setting wing to flight
To allow the strain at last to drain
While allowing its delight
Ever knowing always flowing
To a space of Kindred Light

With open hearts our path to start
Let Love set ease our fright
Spirits soar through open doors
As we again reclaim our might
What dreams reveal to hopes ideal
Inner magic yet incites
A motion forward, ever shoreward
Towards a shining Kindred Light

Flame yet fanned passed hand to hand
About its warmth I write
Passed along as notes of song
Its tune the soul excites
Night succeeding, ever leading
A strength in its own right
Join with me and ever be
One with Kindred Light
