A LETTER WRITTEN TO ME BY THE VERY KIND RASHAD, A VERY SPECIAL MAN ON IPEACE....PLEASE READ
Dear Stephanie,
Thanks for reply. Yes I know life is very easy there and in many countries. Our life is more worse then you hear in news. I send 100’s of requests to ipeace..... (three) friends send us little support which helps us little that time but we never get any proper funding on annual of monthly basses. We are sending requests to big Churches and organizations from 11 years but no result. Some said Pakistan is not our focus area, some did not even answer some refuse in sweet way. We all are very disappointed all the time, But we are still doing efforts.
I was trying to get US visa because I believe if I meet people there in real and invite them here may be some doors open for our work but unfortunately I did not get success in getting visa because visa officer believe my bank statement is very small. I never understand what they have to do with my bank statement I am going there for the betterment of HDO and HDO have all legal status and visible services, but he did not even see and check the HDO original papers.
We really need partner Churches organizations or individual donors from abroad also. It is becoming very hard for us to keep going all these humanitarian activities right now.
I again request you if you can help us to find a good partner for HDO in US or Italy that will be your big gift to our poor communities. Or You can send us little support Annual or monthly bases that also could make things little easy for us......
Regards, love & peace.
Rashad
MODY THIS IS MY REPLY TO YOU.....MY COMPUTER IS NOT BEHAVING RIGHT NOW!!
I was JUST about to delete your message!
But I didn't.
Perhaps in these cases, these opinions, is it best to write directly to me, in a private email?
First of all, Rashad has given me a great feeling of politeness, and my intuition says that his organization is truthful. I am going with my intuition.
How can one tell when one is honest? How can one tell if someone really needs help? Or if that person will definitely use the money for a group he is talking about?
Some people trust everyone
Some people trust nobody
Some people seem like the most honest people in the world and then, the world folds in and one is fooled...the person was not honest all along.
I feel, however, that perhaps using the words "be sure he is not a scammer" might be unfair. What do you think?
Would it not be better to say "Tell us more about your group, I have doubts having seen bad things happen in other sites...how can we be sure about your group that helps unfortunate people?" Isn't this a better way of comunicating without offending?
We are getting into something interesting here, good thought you had. Just the way of saying it perhaps, not really knowing anyone totally inside.....not having EVER an assurance of 100% that someone is doing something that you think they are.
Must go
thanks for your contribution
think about it
I will too
your friend
Stephanie
WELL THIS COMPUTER OF MINE IS ACTING VERY STRANGELY....CAN YOU IMAGINE I HAVE TO WRITE MODY HIS MESSAGE UP HERE!!! SORRY BUT THAT IS HOW IT IS...THERE ARE WORSE THINGS THAN THIS!
Life is experience. People need help. Some will do lots of things, even dishonestly to get help.
So what does a person do?
We ALL want to believe people!!!
We ALL make mistakes in helping and then later realize we did a mistake.
HOWEVER
we learn about people
we learn about ourselves
we learn about dishonesty, honesty, and what we are made of
it is certainly a way to LEARN
Giving of money isn't so bad, it is when one gives of themselves and then you realize the person was using you ....that is the bad one.
We keep learning, we keep wanting to help, but we are always more careful. Who needs the help really, suffers because of all this.
And we keep reflecting on what to do..........................sometimes one goes with their intuitiion!
And there are many hours in the day to think about all this.......
thank YOU Mody
we will think about these things, won't we!
Stephanie
