The Sixth Sense
(what to trust in your own mind)
I have always been amazed at how much more deeper thought can go, deep into the inner recesses of our brains and minds, yet we ignore the notions. The electric actions in dreaming, hope, meditation, prayer etc.. propels our imagination to create the realities around us. We have been very inventive the last 2009 years, from caveman to spaceman. Technologies rely on the creative power of our Imaginings. I have tried yoga as a teenager.., with a Mantra no less, humming, like Tina Turner (chanting, "nam ming yoo hoo ring yae keyoo") in the movie. That meditative process really relaxed and comforted me, it started me on my journey of Self. I understood clearer the first five senses and just believed that common sense was the sixth sense for many years. Somewhere in there (my head) I began to grab for intuitive thought, to search deep within about existence and The Continuity of life for man on this Planet. Why do we exist was the perplexing question of my vibrating youthfulness.
Prayer plays a huge part in the realization and actualization of Miracles. You see, breathing is actually.., in opinion, a miracle. Our sixth sense keeps us breathing, in more ways than a few. We avoid death-traps because we have a feeling and we recognize approaching danger and side-step it. We also have helpers sometimes.
Case-in-point... Bird feeding and bird watching is one of my morning rituals, and the probable energy of these glorious transactions may has been exchanged in the form of angelic activity between the birds and I. Once, while strolling along, almost in a walker's trance (like joggers) a small bird landed immediately at my right foot, so close that I almost kicked him (or her)... this hesitated my pace just as a speeding car turned a tight corner which would have hit me and the injury would have been fierce. I looked up to see the bird had landed above me on a Telephone wire and dropped a turd that just missing me (pay attention dummy) by a foot. I have told many of my friends of this encounter, but I had never put it in written word.., don't send the white coats and wagon yet. For, One did not fly over the Coo-coos nest, no not just one, the gate is open, ...you gotta be crazy to be real.
Look my friends, we have two hands, two eyes, two feet, two kidneys, two gonads, two ovaries, so we must be on the Planet of two(s)...i.e. Man-woman, night-day, hot-cold, reality-fantasy, fire-water etc, it gets wilder, let your sixth sense rejoice... Nine holes in our body, nine Supreme Court Justice, nine months to have a baby, nine men on a Baseball team, ?did Jesus have seven or nine last words. and we reside in a Solar System with Nine Planets... (okay, send the wagon) where Noah collected two of each.
Talk about self-suggestion, my goal was to let my sixth sense do this Home-work assignment and I shut my eyes tight and went to my Invisible Counseling session, where if I (you) stare into the darkness behind your eyelids long enough, I mean really stare hard and you'll see floating particles and small sparks when you face the light and then shield your still closed eyes, it seems that you start to see Stars floating, follow the particles, concentrate and meditate as if you are soaring through space and time. Let yourself glide, lose track of time, imagine hyper-drive like in Star Wars and let your sixth sense speak loud enough for you to hear your inner self explain your next happy place. Common sense can become such a common occurrence, if our sixth sense were conditioned and trusted.
In Love and Friendship,
