The best language for communication is silence.
It helps us understand and realise the eternal truths about the self, God and the world. In silence we are able to comprehend and express sincerely and powerfully the true values of the soul such as peace, love and joy. Silence is not the absence of thoughts but it is a state in which the mind is engaged in pure elevated thoughts that nurture these values within. The power of silence develops all mental and spiritual powers that are needed to tackle various situations successfully.

A wise precept like "Silence is the best language for communication" is true in appropriate situations but not as an absolute advice---except in a non material heavenly world---or as a preparation for actions that bring the Kingdom further into our ruined early paradise.
You, yourself, know this. The last sentence testifies to that. But what puzzles and saddens me is the lack of content relating to the ending of the sentence, ...to tackle various situations successfully.
In our earthly world silence also allows bad people to perpetrate bad things. Gandhi did not remain silent in front of injustice.
Also, greetings and inspiring images is no substitute for dialogue that helps the participants to step outside their personal belief systems and comfort zone.
If this community is intended not only as a haven of escape but also a place for "ahimsa warrior" issues then discussing concerns relating to "spiritual activism" does have a place here. That includes dialogue about the five "evils" that disfigure our world: War; Poverty; Oppression; Exploitation; Avoidable suffering.
In my contributions I have broached this need but little interest is indicated.
