It is pointless for extinct players because all it is going to do is hyperflate their price, hyperinflation caused by all the excess glitched coins. Sure the players won't be extinct anymore, but they are just going to reach their previous inflated prices, in which they will only be accessible to players that buy coins.
Which btw, coin sellers don't even transfer Fifa 16 coins through buying players, but the mule accounts.

Also, there is a rumor that the PSN market is being screwed by the same thing that affects the PC, the remnants of coin sellers purposely extincting players. Although in your proposal this would be fixed.

And it doesn't fully kill trading, but it does cripple it. Part of making good trades is buying a card that didn't have much attention at the moment. If people are running autobuyers 24/7 then that is going to seriously affect your ability to get good deals. Because your knowledge of when good deals exist, and being physically available to buy them wouldn't matter. Everyone is there regardless. If I put search for ronaldo that is worth 1 million coins, I am never going to get anything because there are other people that will always be willing to pay more. Also what about BINs? Who gets priority over the purchase.

Overall, I do agree with the rolling bands, but not with the autobuyer. But for the rolling bands to completely work, glitched coins have to go.

The grand exchange really is (in my opinion) a perfect system.
I need x, I'm willing to pay y. If I'm not willing to pay enough then I don't get one. I don't have to search I just throw out my request and I usually instantaneously get what I'm looking for or I adjust my price.

I would love to see this implemented into FIFA - as well as your chemistry suggestion. I cannot stand having to buy consumables for players. The only purpose of that is to get us to buy packs and spend money which is a bit ridiculous if players are already doing that to try to get the players they want; we shouldn't have to pay out for consumables just to use our players.

Hopefully the same way they did away with formation cards they will with position and chemistry. Players already have preferred positions so there's really no reason to need to have the position cards.
