There is Strength within Purity

The power of our thoughts is immense. As we go about our day, we often find ourselves facing many decisions that don’t always require physical action, but will promote thoughts or feelings. Not too long ago there was someone who said we didn’t need to focus on being in a state of purity because we are already pure. When we are born we are all pure. As we grow we learn from those around us, and hopefully they are admirable role models that will instill some of the most important lessons that will be carried through for a lifetime. But not everyone has had a stable upbringing where everything was perfect. And if everything was perfect how then could we learn to improve ourselves? As we grow as young people we don’t always follow our hearts, we forget we have one at times because we are too busy following the crowd, trying to fit in and so forth. The heart doesn’t usually come into play until our feelings get hurt. Holding onto the essence of purity is the challenge of our inner Self.

We do know how to be more pure in our thoughts, actions and words, but we do not always achieve this goal of our soul because we are constantly battling with the Ego. Our pure thoughts and actions are often tested. I had one just the other day. There was a rotund man in line at our local grocery. Normally I do not look much at what people are purchasing, but I could not help but notice this gentleman was buying about 20 bags of Bits n Bites and nothing else. I said nothing, but inside I was saying, “Holy cow!” Here I am trying to cut down my salt from such snacks and making a conscious effort to snack healthier and before me was someone who obviously doesn’t care. My wise 14 yr old son asked me, “Why does it bother you so much?” It didn’t really bother me because realistically this is that man’s choice to live his life in whatever way he chooses and I know this. I asked God on the way home from the grocery store for forgiveness over my reaction. Sometimes we do not always realize when we are not being of pure mind. And because of this very fact, I make a point of asking for forgiveness every night even for things I may be unaware of. We never know when our actions may bother someone even if we do not realize what may have occurred. Even the most conscious of people can create impurity through their energy just by the simple tone of their voice, how they verbalize their words through written means, or even body language. These can be reduced as being minor, but they all carry energy and we are responsible for the energy we emit.

We have been taught to always put your best foot forward, to be compassionate and charitable towards others. But sometimes this simple basic knowing can become tainted just by having any amount of negativity towards another person or the goal you are trying to achieve.  Jealousy is one of the biggest causes of an outcome being impure. When we set out to accomplish a specific goal it is important that our reasons come from a pure place, that they are not filled with any negative emotion or feeling. Our thoughts carry energy. They do not have to be vocalized to be known, but they are felt not just by a specific audience but by everyone and everything as we are all connected.

When we consciously make an effort to think, feel, act, speak and so forth to be pure then we are not contradicting the purity of our physical body, or thought forms; instead we make them stronger. Being pure in your physical body is a necessity for the maintenance of your health. If your mind is clear from all forms of negativity then your mind becomes a superior candidate to receive messages from God. When we are in perfect health we know there is purity. When we find ourselves ill, we can choose to look at the negative side and allow the illness to take more self-healing energy from us, or we can look at the illness as God’s way to tell us there is something impure that must be removed and through its removal it takes with it toxic debris that can easily drain our spiritual bodies of necessary and vital energy we need to get through our day.  Being able to sustain absolute purity in all things and all times through body, mind, thoughts and feelings is a noble path to attain.

We have the ability to make the appropriate changes to our living style and way of thinking in order to reach a state of purity. Our life becomes that much more beautiful when we do make this a life choice. By our sincerest strength that rest with Love, we are able to show our True Self within this pure state of living through our understanding, our patience and through our compassion and these are not meant to be kept within ourselves, this awareness is meant to be shared through every aspect of our lives.

There will always be a powerful strength within purity because as we adopt this state of being there is no longer any waste of our actions and through this strength we will discover wholeness of our Self. When we choose to live a purer life we are manifesting abundance and this abundance is your clarification about our life being good in all things.

thank you Lana. We need to clear ourselves not only for actions done to us, but actions done by us. Karma works in both directions.

This is the 2nd teaching I have put out that is my own. Thank you for your support.

Dear Julie

A very interesting and thought-provoking post, thank you.

I was particularly interested in:

"I make a point of asking for forgiveness every night even for things I may be unaware of"

Back in the 1980s I put out an advance forgiveness for any future actions by anyone!  I don't think it has done me any harm, and is a similar idea but not the same as yours.

Your thought I feel would be a benign addition to anyone's night time ritual.

Love
