How did I come to be
And the One who created me
The perfections of this earthly realm
Touch my senses and overwhelm
I look at you, I look at me
Not much difference do I see
Your skin is black and mine is white
You turn left and I turn right
And when you pray, the earth you kiss
I look up at heaven's bliss
Our blood which flows is crimson red
And salty tears we both have shed
Our mother's cry when we get hurt
The God above, He knows our worth
So, my brother, take my hand
Let us try to understand
There is one God above you see
He loves us so, both you and me
And all the world and their beliefs
Should be respected diligently
Where you were born, how you were raised
So much effects how you will praise
Your Creator and your King
Whose right is it to judge a thing
For love is the eternal theme
And unity is my greatest dream...
