I also practise zen buddhist meditation (zazen). I accept all the traditions, all the philosophyes, because I think exactely that: we must be compassionate to all beings. I´m peaceful, not passive, as you say. I think you must show love to who does not believe that is possible a peaceful way. I usually say: "I respect your opinion, but I don´t accept it". And enough!! Quit!<br />
