DEAR KATHRYN: I TOLD YOU MIAMI IS BORING; EXPENSIVE; SNOBBY PEOPLE; ETC. But New
York is a different story!!! The musams are terrific and the Stores are fabulous too!! And it is not to far to the Ocean and LIBERTY STATUE. Also the threatre's are wonderful. Miami use to be for Senior "Snow Birds" but the cost of insurance is way too high - plus the maintainance costs while they are back in Canada for the summer went "sky high" - so
they sold and take a curse for so many weeks. It aslo use to be a place for the "KIDS" on March break. 2 young people were shot to death because they were on the phones to their parents and now they avoid Miami like the plague. Before it got violent - perhaps thats
what your Son saw in Miami (A party place).....Which it was!!! See California - or ACAPULCO in Mexico - just fabulous (Can Coon - is boring - Marrird couple on their Honeymoon.) Some of the famous Actors have huge Mansions in the hills on the right hand side of the bay. You can't even get there!!! But Acapulco is fabulous for the night life and all the outside restraunants! (Just don't drink the water - have a cooler instead.) The
Love Boat comes there all the time to let passangers off to see Acapulco. And meeting people is so easy. Canadians or Americans; and so on. You can get a taxi anytime (like New York)!!! All hotels provide tour guides if you preferr!!!

DEAR KATHRYN: Can you not ask your government there about the
Visa? Look in the phone book for government agent's and call the toll free number!! They'll tell you what SITE to go to and the form number. I had to do someone's Tax Return (Once you get the from number it is easy from there!!) It was for capital
gains. And no the government doesn't send you that. But your
government must know. People travel all the time. Keep me
informed; O.K. I just noticed that you work in the area of Mental Health - yet your a social worker - how does the two
connect? I' very interested!! Let me know?

Where is Senegal? I thought you were going to New York and Miani! As far as a passport is concered be prepared to wait weeks!!! Everybody needs one now and the long list of people
waiting is incredible. Police checks; etc. Because of Terriorism!
I use to be able to cross the border with just a Birth Certificate - not any more - even Canadians need a Passport. I have to renew mime.... Picture and all.... Where ever you go you need a Passpots!! Go to City hall in your City and ask about. It maybe diffrent in Australia - but I doubt it!! Each country has it's own proiicall.
I am doing Accounting and writing stort stories to sell.... It's a
lot of fun!! I have a head full of imagination!!!

Let me know about the passport. That is interesting!!
