Between Santa Barbara and Morro Bay
Fabulous I ordered a Tshirt today. This is a beautiful part of the planet. I'm glad I was able to raise my family here. Thanks for the quick reply. I went to Morro Bay and then Santa Barbara to see my dad and my nieces and nephew and sister. and brother in law and my niece and nephews. Then to a CD release party for my son in laws band the Idyllists. Partying with my son in law and my daughter Courtney and our friends was a lot of fun.
I hope you had a great day in Mill Valley. It's funny right now I'm in Santa Barbara visiting my brother in law and my dad. I'll be heading for Mill Valley tomorrow. I wish you all the joy and peace that you can cope with. Isn't iPeace a great idea. It'll be huge . . . feel it in my bones. I have my whole imediate family on iPeace ask your friends to be members.
This from an exchange on what peace means to this site:
"That a really good question. I thank you for it, Mohamad.
Peace means a great deal of different things to many people. It is a very personal question.
I can tell you about the first things that come to my mind when I close my eyes and think of peace.
I see no more wars. I see a time when my grandchildren don't have to spend 3 years of their lives in the army. I see equality and respect between peoples and nations. I see my Arab friends come to visit me at home, I see us going to the beach together. I see myself hanging out with my Lebanese friends in Beirut.
But most of all, I see myself being able to get in the car with my dad (who is 87 years old) and 2 sons, and drive to Baghdad, Iraq, through Jordan or Syria. In Baghdad he takes us to the house he was born in, and to all the places he told us so many stories about. There, we close a circle.
These dreams might sound trivial to many, but these simple acts have been denied of so many people in the Middle East.
What would I give for REAL peace? Almost everything."
