Dear Douglas,
thanks for asking about my smiling tree. The picture of a birch tree was taken by me in summer 2008 at the place I stayed at that time - in the south easth of Austria. I always use this picture for my welcome or first message to people I don't know yet, as this one represents best the way I am and the way I think ... always seeing different outlooks/views. For me this is very important in life to understand and accept others the way they are, as everything is relative and subjective in this world.
Hope it's clearer now why you see this picture quite often in my postings.
Have a good day, my dear friend!
with infinite love

Love is always present, in the world, in nature, in us. What changes is our realisation of it.
Sending you a hearty smile from nature, dear Douglas.

You should not judge a book by it's cover.

I agree... there are enough who send out seemingly random things, but we all have our place to fill and our contribution to make.

Hi Douglas. Yes, I'm interested in sustainable energy. I don't work professionally in that are right now. I actually manage the manufacturing of hospital equipment. I

My wife and I have recently started a green program in our neighborhood, where we try to measure the amount of possible energy expenditure and maximize energy efficiency. A drop in a bucket of water, but it still is working towards something better.
