Hahahahahahaahhahahahahahahaahahhahahahahahahahah !!!!!!!!......BRILLIANT. Just BRILLIANT !!!

I do so agree with your wise words. Why can't people stop pretending ? 'Skulking' is a good word you used, Mark, my Friend......yeh, skulking.... Puppets, too. I thought it were only World leaders and politicians, but o' no. Ordinary bods are just the same....

James and Bobby Purify wasn't it ? 'I'm your puppet'. How easily that can happen. Being leader of the herd one day, puppet of ridicule the next.

Hohumm. back to the Good Life....haha.

Whilst you, at 13/14 were jumping thgrough idyllic waterfalls and cavorting along white sand, this is what I was up to around the same age (bit long, 10mins., but worth it)..................Three years later I had bells around my neck !...................

Wow ! We just had the local bomb sites......................Where, Mark ? The song is good. The line where she sings 'Diddly squat' (funny how expressions travel), always reminds me of a fella I used to be pals with (worked with him at the English National Opera loads and loads of times, and his brother at the London Palladium, both electricians. I even rented a flat from him in '93 for 3 months when Sue and the children were in S.A. for a little while and I was renting out our house and my flat !!!! Crazy. I had two homes and had to rent !!! There's some forward thinking from the young Jew..........I don't think There are a million Jewish businessmen with their heads in their hands after reading that, I bet. Hahaha) 'cos he was always saying that........................Fantastic clip.................

................................One for you. Totally unrelated, just funny...........

Quite a bit on today. Been to the supermarket (for the week !). Cinema later. There's one just opened in my road. An arts based group that do a hell of a lot in Sth London have opened this picture house. So a 5min. hobble's all it takes.

Bysee bye, Amigo.

Yeh, you can spot a bad actor a mile away............Or there's the saying I've always stuck by...'Don't kid a kidder'.

Your last 'puppet' is fantastic.

Keep on chooglin', Brother across the water.

I have only just noticed. That Garfield pic should've been the one that said 'morning', not 'Monday'....I didn't check. I DO know what day it is each a.m....No need for another doctor. A new optician, maybe.

That should've read, beard, not bard (thinking of Tof B and Shakespear, eh, Dr. Freud ?).

Anyhow, off to help the squirrels find their nuts............Byeeeeeeeeee.

(By the by, Mark, 'One for the road', the expression I used in the T.H. posting......this phrase derives from the practice of offering condemned felons a final drink at pubs on the way to the the place of public execution in London - The Tyburn Tree (Tyburn was a village in the county of Middlesex close to the current location of Marble Arch, Central London. It took its name from the Tyburn or Teo Bourne 'boundary stream', a tributary of the River Thames). The phrase really took hold when Johnny Mercer used it in the lyrics of his song One for My Baby (and One More for the Road), that he wrote for Fred Astaire in '43.....Be seein' ya. Hahhahaha !).

Watched the trailer for Throne of Blood this a.m. with my IV antibiotic nurse and we both agreed it looks really interesting. Such an odd concept. I don't know where I could find it over here, but will. I assure you of that. It has the fierce element that is so strong in the original play.

Oh, and also the hair/bard ad. Brilliant ! Hahahahahaha.

Johnathan Winter was the real deal. So very funny. Forgotten the sries he was in in the early '60's. So good.

As for Tony Hancock.....let's not forget the writers. Galton & Simpson. Without them T.C. would not've reached his dizzy heights. I have so much to write about him, including that sketch. The next part had a line which is coveted as being the funniest line written/spoken in British comedy. All those in the show are/have been regulars on tv/film over here (also 50% of my make-up is T.H. If we meet you would recognise Tony in me. People have commented !! Take that as you like. mate !).

Haven't had time to watch your other postings. Will do it the morrow. my man.

Just a quick, "Good morning", to you, Mark, and to say "Hahahaha !", for the M. Jackson clip. The others I'll have to see later as I'm just of to the hospital for a few hours fun (and it will be with all the stuff lined up for me there.......plus I've a great consultant and his team. Real good fun, all of 'em (and all the others I've to see, x-ray, blood, physio etc.)).

Tried to answer your messages by couldn't post my replies. Some Ning hiccup I suppose. Will have a go when I'm back home later.

Until then.........................................
(Hope it's not too 'English' for you. The humour, I mean).....................

And, one for the road (I'll tell you where that expression came from later on)..........

I had this daydream/mental drift Where I saw three very empty people wandering from place to place, like Nomads, searching for 'something'. No idea what. There identities maybe. Each time they stopped off somewhere they found nothing but loneliness and abandonment.

The clip of the three witches came to mind, and to hand. Although these witches were not evil or vindictive and were very much in harmony with each other's heart and soul. This is not how it felt with the barren souls (that word again) of those in my 'dream'.

It must be very sad for some. However hard they try to make friendships they can't help allowing true colours to fly to the fore and destroy or harm those with whom they have just become friends........................What am I going on about, huh ? Lost in a sea of joy maybe, knowing I shall always have people I can turn to if ever I need a Friend. I consider myself so very lucky.

You, Mark, are one of those people. I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with you. You have been a huge help to me when I needed it.
