just thought if you see my group 15,000 stories you will read about some of my past both in L.A. 8born in Long Beach) and here in Italy. Went to school in the Valley, then went to Europe, then lived in Berkeley, then (now) started to live in Italy. Lots of travelling in between, interest in art and photography.

Hi Nancy,

Thanks for considering the topic "My Face", which was an essay assigned about 50 years ago to the English class I was taking at the Choate School in Connecticut. While I don't exactly recall what I wrote (although I did suggest to you I had difficulty writing an essay of interest on the subject), the assignment still would present a challenge to me. You might want to ask the Creative Writing students that you are teaching how they might approach the subject. I would love to know how they might pursue it.

I am sorry about the passing of your aunt. The passing of those we love is painful, isn't it!!

The "World Harmony: Can It Happen?" program will be live on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Tucson, Arizona time) and will be scheduled for rebroadcast on the following two Saturdays, January 17th and January 24th from Noon - 1:00 PM (Tucson, Arizona time).

When I put together a flier about it, I will plan to post it on my profile and to send you a copy too.

Thank you for being interested in watching it. If you do watch it, I would love to get your feedback about it, if you are ok with doing so.

It is interesting for me to learn that you teach creative writing. When I learn of someone teaching or studying such a course or program, I like to tell them of a writing assignment that I received from an English teacher at a Prep School I attended as a teenager in Connecticut (Choate School). Mr. Joseph, the English teacher, assigned the class to write about one's own face i.e. the title for each of our essays was: My Face. I would still, at age 67, have trouble writing an interesting essay on that subject. May I ask how would you and your class approach such a topic?

Yes, timing has its effect on our lives! My condolences for the loss of your family member. I hope that it was not one with whom you were very close.

It was the loss of my mother, my dad, my half-sister, and a good friend which led me to a life-changing experience which in turn led me to deciding to try to devote the rest of my life to trying to create more peace and human harmony in our world.which in turn led me to produce and host this television program and get so involved in the peace movement. If you look at my program online, you will see that the program is dedicated to the lives and memory of all four of them.

I thought that if nations could try to resolve their differences without killing each other, human lives would be spared and people could be spared, at least in war time, the resulting grief that goes along with the deaths of their loves ones.

Well this is a short version of what happened but since this time, I have produced and hosted over eighty live programs of "World Harmony: Can It Happen?"

My next live program will be on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tucson, Arizona time. It will bring together two Israeli - Americans and two Palestinian - Americans all of whom want peace between Israel and Palestine.

I will send you more information about it as the time gets closer.
