It not only countries at war! Families too! I don't have a lot to do with my family now - I find here in India (probably Pakistan too) people can't understand this as family is everything. I always say 'we come alone and will go alone'. Make it my goal to learn to enjoy being with me. My children are grown. My daughter has 2 girls and is on holiday at present in Ireland. My son not married but is a Peace campaigner too. He takes after me. I have lots of friends here in Manali and enjoy living here. You can choose your friends but not your family !!!!
Hi friend from over the border. Read once that Muhammed Jinnah said to put up a border now (1947) and it can come down later to which Nehru said 'That's like having the divorce before the marriage!'
I find it so sad that these beautiful Himalaya mountains (I live at the bottom of the Pir Panjal Range)
are full of so many borders. I'd love to come and walk in the mountains of Pakistan. Hope is something I live with.
Hello Waris Ali. I've stopped by to wish you a peaceful and rewarding weekend filled with much love and laughter! Please forgive my absence lately and thank you for your understanding... I've been pretty tied up with several projects. Have a lovely day, my friend! *smile* --Christie
