Hello Ani,
I just got a used copy of Return to Creation by Manitonquat that I would like to send you along with a copy of my book. If you will send me your address via email. Manitonquat's people were the first to meet the english when they came to this continent the Wampanog's from what is now Massachusetts.
Peace,
George

Kia Ora Ani,
My heart tells me that your prophets were in touch with the Universal Flow that manifests in our hearts and the wrold around us. I love what the three feathers stand for. We do not have albatross around here. I was given an "indian" name by a friend now passed on, spirit bird. I have many spiritual experiences with birds especially lately. We have the crane who lives across the road, a couple very large woodpeckers who live in our woods with us, the piliated. Last week it was water birds, I saw a loon alone twice on two different lakes, first time in years. And I went out on Gull lake for the first time. I came up on a group of gulls, they just stayed right there as I went very slowly by, as if they could feel that I meant them no harm. It is with the birds and trees that I feel that sacred connection to the Creator. It has been very interesting to meet you. I have a 4 year old granddaughter who has some blood of the native people here. I am going to try and take her to a powwow near here where they gather so she can here them drum, sing, and dance. I hope that she feels in her heart what I felt the first time I heard it many years ago. I stepped out my door last winter with her in hand and an eagle flew over my clearing. The only time I have ever seen one here. I hope that she grows up to be one of great heart.
Peace,
George

Hello Ani,
I must say first that the local native people when they greet each other they say Ahni, something like your name. I went to parihaka.com and read much of the story there. It is amazing. I new nothing of the struggles of your people with the Anglo's. I would like to read a book on the subject from your point of view. It is similar to what happend to the origianl people of this continent when we came and took the land we desired. I would like to send you one of my books if you would send me your address. My email address is gwilliston@yahoo.com . The story I tell is of the tribal roots of the English which really should be Anglish, Germanic vikings. Viking is actually an action word for armed men taking what they want from others outside their tribe. Originally it was in sea raids for slaves, gold, and other things of value. Then it became land, slaves, and gold. Now it is oil and soon I have heard it may be fresh water. It is a bad way to live, bad for all and the earth that is the point of the book. Another great book is Return to Creation written by Manitonquat (Medicine Story) a Wampanog from Massachusetts. It shows the beauty and love of the native peoples ways before we came. Our ways are competition not cooperation, a unhealthy way to live with each other and opposite of the teaching of Jesus. Maybe we could trade books.
Peace,
George

Hello Ani,
I have read your comments on this page some at least twice as this is my first time to hear any Maori. I have many questions. Would you explain your photo symbol? What is kaupapa? I live in the woods of North America. I know that my tribe has taken so much from so many around the world. The old ways if they are good ways should not be lost. I am going to find more of the story of Te Whiti and Tohu, if Gahndi was inspired by them they must have been great people on the good path. I have written a book about my tribal culture that brought the English language out of Germany to Britain at the point of a sword and then on to the rest of the world. We are still vikings. Please visit my page here.
Peace,
George

b>There are my ways of presenting oneself I do it through my writings *smile*

It all starts with the children. I write about that in ”The Child Within All these children that are neglected or abused become our ” Barefoot Children” Some survive against all odds. That’s our ”Dandelion Children”

Many have to deal with this their inner child as grown ups since that is our ”Sauce of Peace” and the neglected child need its redress to be able to give and share.

Some devote their life to ”The reconnaissance for a God” while others do believe so strongly so they are willing to commit ”War and Violence in the name of God”

What do we think about all these issues? Which are our OWN thoughts without quotes, That can be told In ”You are the Source” since your thoughts are as valuable as someone else’s.

So much around us and inside us is sad so ”We cannot always Shine” that is OK. Admitting our sorrow and grief is the first step to healing and peace.
We can also find ourselves through ”Sagas, Dreams and Myths” within witch so much human wisdom is hidden.
We can close our eyes and just remember through all the music our heart and soul has saved, and we can share it with others in ”Unforgettable Music”
We can travel to get inspiration and understanding for our different cultures. Why not go to ”Sweden starting in Lapland” You will find my roots there involved in the midnight sun and the northern light *smile*

Hope seeing you somewhere /Gunilla
