Hi Sally,

One.
Everything.
Nothing.
Eternal.
Finite.
Infinite.
Are we not all these in every moment? How many layers (dimensions) are there? How deep is your brain tissue? LOL

Light which is reflected can be much more powerful than the light itself! How many times can light be reflected in mirrors and still be at least as bright? How much more powerful can it be when focused?

:-) Robert

Hi Sally, Great to meet you! I love your photos and the one you have as your main photo is great!!! Some of the photos looked like the lake district in England. I agree with your thoughts! Truly, my hearts desire is to share with and care for those around me. I give of what I have to whomever is in my life, or comes into it. Yet I feel that I am not quite to the point of true detachment from "money/things". I am getting close, living more simply than most anyone I know. Still, I am a little too attached to comfort ... hope you don't mind me rambling... Just yesterday the power went out for 14 hours. It was cold and I could not work, I built a fire, took a nap, "suffered" with little to do. I played some music and lit candles when it got dark. Had a good chance to really think of how "spoiled" I am.
Even with very little, or just enough to eat, I am still living "like a king" with running water, electricity, a great view, security and freedom.. many other blessings as well. With a renewed appreciation for everything I do have, hopefully, I will be able to unlock a new level of cooperation with blessing and reach a higher level of peace of mind, body and spirit!
I am reminded of people who would be overjoyed just to have clean water to drink, even if they had to walk 5 miles or more to get it. Or people who never even have had a "real meal"... This moves me to proclaim and give thanks, I am free and blessed!
My heart seeks the freedom and health of all opressed and those living without enough. If I could knock on their door I would, if they could knock on mine I would open it. For now I will intend blessing to all as I give thanks for mine!
Thank you for sharing yourself.. Hope you don't mind my sharing this, I was inspired by your thoughts, somehow, to ponder yesterday's ponderings in today's light. Thank you for being here now! :-) (t.y. RD)
and thank you for being a friend! Unity of spirit! Robert

Thank you for adding me as your friend. I love your pictures; they were taken on crystal, clear, blue sky days; which can only reflects even more the message they are trying to portrait. I can see you have a gentle soul.
Take care,
Patty

Hari Om Sally/Shanti,

Thank you for sharing your beautiful thoughts. Do you have a spiritual teacher? Is that how you received your name? I have been lucky to interview many living spiritual teachers on the planet. One sample is here.

As many of my clients know I attended the incredible 5 day Seeds of Compassion event in Seattle WA. hosted by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and featuring Archbishop Desmond Tutu and world renowned scientists, child caretakers, psychiatrists, psychologists, and educators. All coming together to discuss...and experience more compassion and teaching it in the school systems. I came away with many ideas and feel privileged to have been invited to participate. I write for many international publications and have written some articles on the event.
I am sharing some communication tips that I brought back with me for you.

Useful Attitudes for Speaking and Listening.

Open-Mindedness: Listen to and respect all points of view

Acceptance: Suspend judgment as best you can

Curiosity: Seek to understand rather than persuade

Discovery: Question old assumptions, look for new insights

Sincerity: Speak for your self what has personal heart and meaning

Brevity: Go for honesty and depth but don't go on and on

Namaste, Nancy

Hi Sally, i can asure you that Tibetan culture will not be destroyed. There are worldwide so many organisations and individuals working with the Tibetans for this common goal. Sometimes i dream of the day, whenever it will come, that His Holiness leaves Dharamsala to return to his homeland. My dharma friends and i have decided that we will see His Holiness of from India where a massive amount of people from all over the world will be gathered. For now it's unthinkable and just a wishful dream. But who thought that it was possible for the Berlin wall to come down so suddenly? I believe that Tibet will be freed as soon as the Chinese people will be freed from the ruthless and violent Chinese regiem and we do what we can to help liberate the Chinese people. Be well, Willem
