David,

I like the poem you posted.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Its what i've been wanting to express. A time to heal.

Peace & Love,
Carol

I'm reading the book Eye of the I by David Hawkins.

He writes:
"Love is an attitude. Love is not an emotion but a way of being and relating to the world."

want to share an experience i had this summer. I was sitting in a church in a religious faith that I had left because of the judgemental attitudes. I was there to be a part of a family event. Usually in this situation I would feel anxious and defensive. As I sat there and listened to the choir sing about a rageful God (something I don't believe). I asked to see everyone there through the 'eyes' of God. This amazing energy came through me, my heart opened. There was such abundant love - it wasn't me loving, it was LOVE loving. Everything was perfect - the differences in beliefs didn't matter because at that moment there were no differences only Oneness and perfection - only Love. It was such an amazing experience - to call it an experience isn't even right - the mind can't really define it - we don't have the words. But, I'm sure you get the idea. I just pray that some day I can be That all the time.

peace and love,
kaycie

David,
thank you for your heartfelt words. recently i felt very overwhelmed by the suffering in the world as I read about
what is happening in Congo. I had to journal about it and disucss it with friends and then just sit with it knowing
that in the end the only place i can find peace is inside me and when i can Be that peace then things change.
even though they seem to change sooooo slowly.

during my studies in Spiritual Peacemaking they talked about awakening our consciousness to the peace
that is already present. so much conditioning keeps it hidden from our physical eyes - but we can see it
with the eyes of the heart.

your words touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. You are That which you seek, dear friend.

Hi, i am so sorry to hear of your step daughters death in the bombings, that is so sad. I congratulate you on not letting hatred take over and looking to peace instead. I wish more people could see the benefit of it. Take care

Hi David,

What an extraordinary day, the sense of hope from the White House has spread all the way over here to Edinburgh ~ I've never experienced such a global wave of optimism!

I created the 'Barack Obama ~ a new hope for world peace' group on facebook only 15 hours ago & there are over 2,000 members already.

People are so ready for a change, and this is a progressive change filled with hope!

Peace to you & your family on this new dawn,

Gordon

iPeace is looking very good David...Afraid the Care2 thing has become much too fast, furious and, therefore frustrating...The dulcet tones of John Lennon simply would be out of place there...But then, when I joined they were boasting a membership of "almost 8million", a short time later it is "almost 10million"...Someting had to give...

Well, I've had a cursory look around and very much like what I see...In for the long haul I suspect...

Cheers and all the very, David.
