It is really something to get our heads around, that we can actually access millions of people even if we live remote. Our psyche has no historical reference to this. Lets get used to it!
I deliberately did not go more into the environmental impact Shell has, or could have with this project. I wanted to keep my blog short and easy to read.
Please add on any info you might find on the websites.
Shell is a straightforward profit orientated corporation, they don't even pretend to be otherwise.
The let down really happened with the Irish government, who let their people down. The politicians do pretend to be not after their own (backhanded) profits.
Yes, and if you can have ANY effect on highlighting this unhealthy situation with the Board of Governors, please please do!
As the outcry gets louder, we are hoping for Shell to show some goodwill.
One could even argue that it would be good PR for Shell to do so now.
