Thank you very much for your kind words.
You truly are a great friend.

Dear Stuart, I want to apologise for saying that I am a member of Care2 when I forgot to subscribe as such on the mentioned site.
Previously this was my taught but, I've left myself carried away reading all the information and wanting to post a petition about something that is of deep concern to me, that I forgot to subscribe.
I know that is sound's very silly but, well, it's true. So, I want to apologise again and I am now hopeing to see you there.
P.S.: I will come back to comment on what you've wrote as I am very interested in this things and can spend a lot of time talking about it.
Thank you for being such a nice person.
As we walk our path of life,
We meet people everyday.
Most are simply met by chance.
But, some are sent our way.
These become special friends
Whose bond we can't explain;
The ones who understand us
And share our joy and pain.
Their love contains no boundaries.
So, even we are apart.
Their presence enhances us
With a warmth felt in the heart.
This love becomes a passageway,
When even the miles disappear.
And so, these friends, God sends our way,
Remain forever near.
Thanks for being my friend
And I am very happy to read that you care about animal too. I love them dearly and suffer enormously because they are so bad treated.
I really hope that, one blessed day, we will stop harming them.
Thanks for the Blowing in the Wind lyrics, Stuart. I love Bob Dylan. He's played in Vancouver twice in the last couple of years and we really enjoyed hearing him live.
I haven't been on iPeace much lately but I note your question about my identification with "Code Pink Women For Peace" and that's actually referring to one organization. I should have put a comma in there. I'm also involved with Stop War BC and Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO). We have a pretty lively pro-peace community around here.
I work in community radio and have a strong commitment to media democracy and so I'm sorry to hear about the challenges foryour local station. I will go to the archived shows.
Dear Stuart,
It is a great pleasure to be your friend.
Nothing can change in this world if we don't give a proper and sincere education to our young generations. Whatever we teach our children, they will do later in life. So, they will repeat what happend in the past, or they will want to make a differance.
So far, everything goes like this (and I want to say that this are not my personal oppinions):
- if you are a palestinian, then you have to hate jews because they came and took over your land pretending that is their ancestral right to live there and build their nation regardless that there was, already, Palestine;
- if you are jewish, keep up fighting for something that not many people think you have a right to; stick to your own traditions completly and marry a jewish person, not from outside; live in a jewish comunity and seek to put your child into a jewish school;
- if you are an iranian, hate jewish people and, probably, the world and lie;
- if you are russian, dislike America for being the most powerful nation on earth and;
- if you are american, Russia, Irak, Iran, Afghanistan are unfriendly to you because one has left you with a very Cold memory and the others are cultivating a culture of terrorism against you.
And the list can get very long.
Personally, I thank God for there have always been people great in the heart and spirit and I want to think that they have'n lived or still live, just to keep it all in balance, but to turn everything around and make it the way it should had been from the beginning.
Dear Stuart,
The fact that there are so many peace groups people organise and participate to, says it all.
Even if, in some societies, people live in fear, hunger, poverty etc..., they do not give in, hopping for better. And so, they fight continously for their rights.
It is, indeed, much harder when your country leader is a bit, or more, of a psychopath but, even then, people find a way to help each other out.
Personally, I really do not know when we will ever learn. Probably when it will all be very late. When we had ruined everything around us and will find ourselves on the edge of annihilation.
Stuart, humankind has always been at war, from many different reasons. Humans always wanted to conquer, to have more than the neighbour had or will ever have, more than the friend and for that, they fought with each other. And to become greater and superior they went to descover and, if necessary, to exploit other lands and this involved fighting and killing all over the place.
This is our history, since we became conscious of our existance on Earth - the planet we all call home, but we continue to trash it without to many regrets.
Hello Stuart,
I’m happy to meet you on ipeace. The quote you commented on comes from a song, Jeff Buckley’s Hallelujah, which is somewhere on ipeace as a video. The real line in the song is ‘LOVE is not a victory march’, but in my mind, when I think about that song, I always remember the line as ‘PEACE is not...’ Maybe peace and love are much the same. Who can tell what love is ? The song has a very enticing tune.
I became involved in these peace groups because I have a commitment to peace for Palestinians, due to having known for many years that Palestinians were experiencing totally outrageous discrimination, but now I am looking more seriously at the nature of both war and exploitation, in order to gain a better understanding of the truth about what is really happening.
At present, I am thinking along this line: peace usually comes after a decisive victory, But, it requires the victors to be satisfied with their gains, and magnanimous in their victory. What do you think ?
My apologies for taking so long to get back to you.
Best Wishes to you and Caroline.
Dear Stuart
Thank you for adding me as your friend on ipeace. I think your bio is very sweet and earnest. I take great hope from it and will follow your work and broadcasting.
I'm not one for adding the fancy, sparkling, wiggly pictures, so please forgive my plain language thanks for all you do in the name of peace!
For peace, love and justice,
