Hi there!! I am a Sergei a peace activist from Saint Petersburg Florida U.S. and am part of an organization http://stpeteforpeace.org/ as you will see from our web site I am heavily involved in helping to raise awareness in others for the plight of peace and justice for you in Palestine. If you click on PAST EVENTS on the web site you will see the most recent events we have organized. I know no measure of this can truly bring peace to your heart and mind however rest assured by this and so much more many of us are trying. We also show weekly films including some documentaries on the Israeli Occupation. From the deepest part of my being I wish you PEACE & SAFETY !!!

Salam to you too. Are things any better, has Israel pulled out of Gaza? We never know what's going on here. Our news is very one-sided about the conflicts there. Hope you are having a peaceful day today.

Dearest Abdullah,

Thank you for the kind words. I have just returned from Washington DC. I am with an organization that is fighting for rights of low income Americans. i think one of the things i noticed is that the fights of the people have to be led by the people and not wait for any politicians to solve our problems. I will continue to send positive energy to you and your friends and family. Your story has touched my heart. I wish I knew answers for you but what I do know is that the politicians will only listen when the people speak up. People must be the driving force for new possibilities. Governments see problems people create solutions.

Please keep in touch!

Many blessings,
teresa

Nice pic Abdullah!

Sorry about all the slang, and non-sense I wrote to you last time.. I guess I had alot on my mind.

Homie is a word used like friend, (it is short for home boy)

I will have to keep this message brief, because there is still much work to be done today.

Thank you for reminding me to slow down..

That is just what I needed to hear.

Take care of yourself my friend, we will speak again soon!

Greetings and love to you Abd,

I am so sorry to hear your pain. I am hoping that our new president in the US will start taking note of the atrocities that you live with. I was hopeful when I voted but, so far it seems like business as usual. We in America will keep protesting until something is done, or at least until our politicians take note of our voices. I was by our university last week and there was a protest to end the occupation. There were probably about 100 to 200 men, women and children. There were cops everywhere, but the protest did not even get on the news. Our media slants the truth and seems to forget there are human beings that are living in such inappropriate conditions. Many Americans are waking up to the truth and the lies in the media. I believe we will start pressing our politicians stronger as the truth is told. But we have a long way to go. Too many still believe the short sound bites and believe that CNN is telling your story, when I know they are not.

Please continue to share your stories so that more people can be aware of the truth of the situation you live in. Please post pictures, video, stories, whatever you have. I am in contact with my senators and representatives and will gladly pass any meesages I can to them. They too, are often unaware of the truth of the matter. I live in a country that is controlled by the media, but many of us have decided to wake up to the truth of the world. I hope there is something we can do, but spreading truth is at least a start.

It gives me hope when I see Yatif offering to help you if she can. We are all one people. We are all human beings. You are my brother and Yatif is my sister.

sending love and light to you and your family and friends!

Namaste my new friend ~ teresa

Hello Abd,
I am sorry for what the ignorant and weak American politicians have done as a part of your suffering. they are bought or afraid of the American Jewish lobby here. I just wrote President Obama a letter to help him understand that terrorism can only be stopped by listening to the people who are angry and suffering not with bombs. I hope his heart will guide him and he will have the courage to do what is right but it is not looking good in some of his choices. I read Jimmy carters book about the apartheid going on over there. you live lilke on an American indian reservation. It makes me upset. I would like to help you.
Peace,
GEorge

Dear Friend,
I am thinking of you and your people. Today and yesterday we marched in our thousands here in the UK, raising our voices for the Palestinian people.
I hold you in my heart.
