Ali, couldn't agree more. In my work we bring people together who have caused harm to each other.. so that they can learn about the impact of their actions and come up with a plan for how they can live together in peace. Prejudice happens when we do not understand the common things we share. When we can go below the surface of hate, fear, differences, we see that there is more that connects us than what divides us.
It amazes me that we can have these dialogues from different parts of the globe.. the connections already exist... they just need to be expanded.....

I believe in those things too. I believe we are on the verge of more and more people coming to this sort of realization. This hope for a better world lead by our better angels and generosity replacing greed is possible with or without the great religions. I am a Christian with an open mind and open heart and dream of a future that embraces and nurishes all where the only conflict is a little argument with friend. This picture was taken in Tennessee Valley near my home in Mill Valley California . . . this is what I think is God's cathedral.

News: Wars and rumors of Wars around the world, Palestinians and Jews are being murdered, Poverty, Environment dying, Fla. woman likely jumped overboard (suicide), In Phila. 6 dead and 3 wounded (violence), Cheyenee, Wyo earthquakes 3 days straight, China border 3 tremors Dec. 27th and In May 80,000 people killed from earthquakes and more. It is imperative that we fast and ask for the relief of suffering around the world. What affects one affects all!!!!! If need advice on how to fast, please ask at anytime-we have a teacher to teach us.

I find also that prjudice blinds people as does violence. Do you believe that the world would be more peaceful if people would ? stop dominating controling rather then managing? If we listen more communicate more respect and only let those close to our hearts whom we can trust I wish there was more peace more people strving for peace. What do you think?
