Touch of Sand

As I sit here,quietly thinking of you,
sunrise burns off the mornings dew,
steaming the grass within it's glow,
comming to pass,my dreams you know,
sipping my coffee,with paper and pin,
writing of my dreams,and You,within,
we were walking along a sunny beach,
we were talking about the dreams of each,
finding some driftwood to build a fire,
watching the sunset,passions growing higher,
washing over us in a crimson delite,
kissing our faces with it's firey light,
I thought to myself,what a beautiful sight,
an Angel in my arms,for a passionate night,
a warming glow from our little fire,
a session of sparks flew ever higher,
into the night to fly in the sky,
amber stars to my wandering eye,
leaning in to give me a sweet kiss,
reminding me now of the passion I miss,
as sweet as honey,flowed your tenderness,
warm and wet from our passionate bliss,
as we made our sweet love in the night,
lost in your eyes,in the soft moonlight,
gone is the fear,is our love alright,
long was my tear,as I search for true light,
hungry for love and holding onto you tight,
oh how I long for that passionate flight,
then I woke up from that wonderful dream,
but you weren't there,I just wanted to scream,
covered with sweat and a small gift in my hand,
a tiny blue seashell,with just a touch of sand,
so I write of the dreams we just had,
know alright,that they were not so bad,
how I longed for that promised land,
my thoughts belong to that touch of sand...
