When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I feel the pain in the world

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom, Other

So what is it?: It's a rather long answer.....need more room, but corporate greed is one, sexism is another, lack of respect for all species, animal abuse, apathy, rampant misunderstanding of language and how to use it peaceably and creatively, etc

More: Thinking capabilities and moral intelligence, paricularly of corporations, the banking conglomerates and so on.

The breaking down of collective spirit of a people through oppression (monetary, violence, making subservient etc)

Finding effective means to join together with clear strategy and means to implement in order to create peace

Xenophobia

More about me: All around artist, composer, musician, vocal artist, model, writer, poet, thinker, filmmaker, journalist, guru of asking questions and thinking for oneself as well as doing the research.....

I practice yoga and pray daily (if not every hour as much as I can in my awareness.)

I feel extraordinarily blessed and take nothing for granted and am intensely aware of how much suffering there is on so many levels. I strive to be happy while mindful and compassionate of all these things. I urgently want to be of great help and to join in strength and partnership with others to create solutions and paths that really work and to hands on get into the action and help wherever possible.

I've always felt a strong sense of mission, ever since childhood and always been interested in helping those oppressed. Always been fascinated with existence and the nature of consciousness and different ways of perceiving and communicating.

I've studied consciousness in many ways, including through literature, meditation, yoga, experimentation, travel, art, relationships, language, philosophy, dance and finally therapeutically as a holistic hypnotherapist and life coach (5 years). Currently, I am developing a new media project that incorporates all my skills, particularly the skill of positive suggestion and inspiration. It is a project that will help to create more peace on an individual level with domino effect.
