Dear Cem*
Thanks for inviting me to you Multilingualism and Multiculturalism blog in Facebook but I prefer our site here to be my home. I also looks for the influence of one language and culture on another and we in Israel deal with it quite a lot. Our language is one of the ancient living languages. On the other hand, you cannot get along in our days without the sms language and the youngsters spoken language. There is a movement in Israel conducted by some linguistics who speaks for the common spoken language, ignoring the mistakes many make in masculine and feminine terms etc. This is a problem for a young man like me but time will tell if our language preserves its authenticity or changes.
My wishes for a Happy new Year and a better one. i

Dear Cem and Shalom ~ BARIŞ
Every day I learn a new way to say Peace. As a matter of fact I have a friend in your country, a distinguished professor who wished to learn Hebrew. Now I'll be able to bless him with the most important word in Turkish. And your country is hosting our peace talks with Syria and who knows, it may lead to a peace treaty…
Thanks for joining our group and may our efforts will lead to better understanding and tolerance among all people.
Blessings, i
care4u
