What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Fear

More: the uncontrolled power of corporations.
The war within ourselves. The lack of true communication.
Not enough connectedness with our selves, each other and the planet.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

I am living in this remote, peaceful little village at the Irish west coast.

And I am just back home from visiting my dear neighbor Maura who is staying in her car, surrounded by supporters and police, outside the gate of the corrib gas project.

She is on day 9 of a hunger strike!

She loves her homeland and has vowed to protect it with her life.

This is happening right here, on my doorstep.

And I want you all to know about it.

Hello from Canada. It is ten minutes to Sunday Midnight August 14th, 2011. I have not visited ipeace, well probably for well over a year and at this moment it looks like you have not been here for some time your self. Last time I visited there seemed to be dozens of people on line here and tonight just me and one other person in the whole wide cyber world.

Has something happened ? Did everyone go somewhere else in cyberspace ?

Or is it the time of day and night around Europe and North America.
