What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights, Other

More: Fear of the 'unknown' - whether the 'unknown' is other people, cultures, etc., and also fear of potential loss of material possessions if 'peace' reigns and an even and equitable distribution of resources were to occur. Obviously, 'greed' figures highly here, too. Armament manufacturing is very profitable in times of unrest in the 'outside' world. Of course, with 'inner' peace, at least the individual has no obstacles to peace...

More about me: I am involved with an ethical industry - that of establishing safety, security, health and environment in an occupational setting. The sanctity of human life - regardless of all the cultures, socio-economic spectrums, etc. etc. - is paramount to the way my business focus operates. Since I enjoy my 'work', my 'private' lifestyle is never far from this focus. (I would sum-up my approach with my definition of safety - based on something I heard from a very good friend years ago: "Safety: the ability to take my next breath in the most beautiful and comfortable way possible"...)
