- Fear is the stimulus for so many of the human traits that have caused great suffering across generations and continents. It bespeaks a state of mind that fears it is incapable of doing or saying anything for fear of others' rejection, lack of acceptance, or disapproval, violence except through doing what is already accepted as the way to do things..
