Shalom Gabby,
I wish your people will find the way to reach a peaceful and free existence and the day humans understand we are all brothers longing for the same, - whatever that may be for every single person- and fear and its consequences dissapear to enable the growing of love and compassion, will come soon.
Stay well.

Gabby, you are not trapped at all. You are free. You can drive anyplace you want. You can enjoy the sea, the mountains, freedom, decent prices, a decent home, a decent job, etc. I want my family to have the same options in life. They deserve it. They are hard working, good people. They don't deserve to live as they have been living. What do you suggest?

Palestine must be an independent country governed by its own elected officials not controled by Israel or the United States inorder to coexist beside Israel. The ever incroaching settlements into the West Bank and practices like this only shatter these chances more and more not to mention Gaza and other human rights attrocities practiced by the IDF daily. Human beings will not stand for this kind of oppression for very long until they will rebel. It is our inherit will to survive and thrive that will make us fight to survive. Palestinians are human beings not animals. Can't you see that! Look, in spite of their suffering the Palestinian people are still so kind and loving. I was there! They are sweet people. They smile often and simply want to live a happy life with their families. My God, can't you understand this?

How can the Palestinians begin to build a better life for themselves while they are being oppressed, imprisoned and denied their basic human rights? Please tell me this. I challenge you to visit the West Bank or Gaza. You need to see for yourself what your government and mine is doing! I admit that the United States is also to blame here! Jimmy Carter wrote an excellent book documenting the practice of apartheid by the Israeli government. I want Israelis to have a beautiful, peaceful life but they must be fair and humain to their neighbors before this can happen. Go to see for yourself. I promise you will be sad.
