What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Greed

More: Old greedy men authorize wars that young men die in.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

Softened Edges
Old issues seam to melt away.
Soft water falls from rough rocks over time.
Leaving smooth edges in their stay
As beautiful rainbows play
Under the waterfall of life
As our life's energy drifts down
Passing of time and strife
Creating peace at last loves crown
Only destiny awaits
Life's long and endless chase
Slowly now, don't want to be late
Meeting my God or my fate
Has no meaning without unconditional love
For my God and my 3 children
I pray to parents long above
For the strength to be worthy Then

Bearer wears their halo with eternal grace

Ever present you are, untouchable at times

Undefinable, but it fills my mind

The vision of understated elegance

Put together quietly, but not by chance

The smell of gardenias fill the air

A glint of light twirls from your hair

Beauty, but much more, as that alone is trite

Your presence and posture are just right

Your emotions are on your sleeve and real

The world cries as Haitians die

When we are motivated passions fly

Government bureaucracies interfere with supplies

as little Haitian children die

We deal with tragedies one at a time to

We help wherever and whenever it's true

But lives are lost in the bat of an eye

The world shakes an we wonder why?

Food and water , medicine and supplies

As Haitians bleed and many died

We need to provide a way to survive
