The hurt of one is the hurt of all, the honor of one is the honor of all.
When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Our Planet, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
The powers that be and who are in control have not nurtured themselves spiritually and are stuck in the trap that this is all there is to life, money, power, greed .. all the issues that were given above are legitimate issues however with a deeper connection to the creator them powers might be able to clearly see the pain and suffering occurring globally and feel more inclined to put their powers to use by ending it. We are all brothers and sisters and with this mentality on their part we might stand a chance at peace.
Can we change the world?
More about me
Ojibway woman from North Eastern Ontario. For the most part I was raised in a traditional setting with exposure to ceremonies and powwow's however as a teen I fell along the wayside and got stuck in a destructive lifestyle. Today I am in university studying First Nations Studies so that one day I can bring back to my people the knowledge that I have aquired in order to help bring us back to the harmony that we once knew as a nation.

The True Peace The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness, with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the universe dwells Wakan-Taka (the Great Spirit), and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us. This is the real peace, and the others are but reflections of this. The second peace is that which is made between two individuals, and the third is that which is made between two nations. But above all you should understand that there can never be peace between nations until there is known that true peace, which, as I have often said, is within the souls of men.
