i am over sixty, educated, from new york city and have lived in phoenix since 1969. i like buddhism although i appreciate judaism and christianity, too. i believe in trying to get along with different people and am completely against racism etc. i believe that many prejudiced and racist people like to blame their problems on people that are different from them. i do b elieve in forgiveness and when someone is difficult with me i realize that the individual is using the wrong means of coping with their own experiences of discrimination, etc.

As you say I think it`s easier when you become older, to appreciate these tiny things since you have got a somewhat different perspective over the years...*smile*
At least something good in getting older :)
We are all looking to realize the ultimate vision, and are so busy with major life goals that we often forget the priceless joys that life surrounds us with and offers.
Perhaps we must learn to better appreciate the "small close things " Those who ultimately makes life worth living ...
