Auntie Nona (Winona) Beamer (1924-2008) was a native of Hawaii, best known for her attempts to preserve the indigenous Hawaiian Culture via storytelling, music and dancing. She was declared "A Living Treasure," by the Governor of the State of Hawaii , in 2003. Here she talks with Leslie Wilcox and passes on her message of peace... kindness and friendship toward one another... the "alohaness" of the Hawaiian lifestyle.
