The blues has always been deeply connected to the african-american culture, especially that coming from the southern United States (Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Georgia), the slave plantations of cotton, which used the corner, further defined as "blues," for packing and suffered his endless work hours. Are evident both in its rhythm, sensual and strong, and in the simplicity of his poems which mainly dealt with aspects of popular religion as typical, love, sex, betrayal and work. With the slaves brought to North America in the early nineteenth century, African music is cast in a cold environment and painful life in cotton. But the concept of "blues" only became known after the end of the Civil War when its essence has become as a means of describing the mood of the african-american population. It was a more personal and melancholy to express their suffering, anguish and sorrow. The scene, which eventually become typical in the plantations of the Mississippi Delta, was the legion of black, working exhausting on the momentum of the corners, the "blues."
