After seeing the blood of a 16-year-old boy on her street, singer-songwriter Kinzli wrote "Don't Shoot".
She features in this video as a concerned citizen who has amassed newspaper clippings of gun crime.
As the video cuts between her and a community on the opposite spectrum of gun crime - people who would rather have dance-offs than shoot-outs -
she begins to tear away her own fear and instead commemorate the dead youth. The editing of the video corresponds to both the fluctuating rhythm of this unique song and
Kinzli's own "dizziness" when she sings certain sections of it.
