It is time to delegitimize violence and greed.

What is the purpose of education?

Our movement is about SERVING LIFE and we completely oppose all the policies of the University of California which attack life. The chopping of an urban forest is just a small example. It is time to bring up to the table the big one: the participation of the university in the development, research and manufacture of nuclear weapons (last year the UC and Los Alamos and Livermore Labs made the first official announcement, since the end of the Cold War, saying that the institution is openly fabricating new "safer" atomic bombs).
