You can hear the waves from the Pacific Ocean and see the beach with people walking the sea promenade. The quaint pier and landmarks like the old museum[former station house for the RR,the Totem monument..reataurants, genuine eateries and bed and breakfasts are close by and this is the seaside of White Rock resort; Uptown you can find almost the opposite, galleries, more shops and two hirises show its imposant facade to the visitors. Still some of the 'old' is still here.<br />
It's for the newly arrived toruist to explore and adore should they decide to become mesmorized...of a semi-antique town environment which still has a famaous steak house on Johnston Road and right by the Five Corners.<br />
