She successfully balanced the use of military and diplomatic power.<br /> She was successful in combining military hard power with diplomacy and U.S. soft power capacities in economics, aid to the developing world combined with strong human rights advocacy, she was able align the US as a key defender of the poor and oppressed across the world.<br /> 02.
