Hello my friends - In short I will tell you a bit about me: 35 years of my life I was working as cook and executive chef in various Hotels and Restaurants mostly in Austria, but also in France, Switzerland, Sweden and 3 years in New York City. I also managed a restaurant for 5 years and was teaching and training master chefs at the Chamber of commerce. Because of severe health problems I was forced to change my lifestyle, made several studies and trainings in the field of health prevention, natural Medicine and spiritual disciplines. Since 16 years I work as health trainer, giving lectures and seminars about he 5 pillars of health, Nutrition, Vegetarian health food, Tai Ji and Qi gong (thanks to my wonderful chinese masters who taught me) and holistic Eye(Visual) training. I live in the southern part of Austria called Carinthia, close to Italy and Slovenia, in a small town amidst high mountains and many beautiful lakes. I like nature, nordic walking, fitness training, swimming, Taiji and Qigong, meditation on inner light and sound, good music and literature and of course vegetarian cooking and good food. I am a convinced vegetarian since 35 years (live and let live) and wrote 2 cook books. My wife Maria, is a Bowen practitioner who treats successfully animals, especially horses. We are having 3 adult children (2 daughters and a son, who is married with famous Koto player and composer Chieko Mori in Japan. He is teaching electronic music at the University of Tokio) I feel much in harmony and I am quite happy with life as it is now and as God is providing me in splendorness. An important challenge at the moment is to spend more time for meditation and to put my focus on an ethical lifestyle and spiritual development, which I see as an important contribution not only to inner peace but also to universal love and peace in the world.

I enjoyed reading about your life ( so far) plenty more to live yet I'm sure :-) My husband and I were involved in Natural Health when we lived in the UK and I found what you were saying about your health issues interesting and would to hear more.
You sound in a peaceful place in the mountains. Enjoy

Thank you so very much Heimo for the wonderful welcome to ipeace. What a wonderful community this seems to be! Your profile is very interesting. I need to rewrite mine I think! My family and I visit a naturopathic clinic here in the US. It has done wonders for us. So I too, am very interested in alternative health/healing practices, spirituality, and meditation. Hope you have a lovely week. ~Kelly

Heimo, we have many wellness practices in common. I am a yogini who celebrates Nature. I love growing organic food and I teach about the "Body Garden" - how the wonders of nature all live within every one of us. Thank you for inviting my friendship and for your practices that bring peace to us all.

Wishing you a week inspired by beauty and delicious food!
