Nice to meet you. I am an American cousin. You speak of the culture of war and control. I have written a book that examines this cultural trend that we live within. Please don't worry yourself about replying on the spot...I know how it is when you want to correspond with everyone, and only have so much time in the day. Its good to hear from you any time, and that's all there is to it.
I understand your feelings about Obama. He's trying to be a centrist politically, and this makes some of his decisions unpopular at times. Regarding Palestine, He wants a two state solution, I believe. The situation in Gaza is so frustrating...innocents dying. Bottom line. It just fuels the hatred. I can't see any US president ever lessening support for Israel, though. I wanted, on iPeace, to learn from as many people as possible what was really happening. We get so much filtered news and outright propaganda here. I try to keep my opinions flexible in the matter. Sometimes it feels like I come up against a stone wall.
Yeah Rachel Maddow is easy on the eyes...unfortunately for us guys, she likes the ladies. Ah well...no matter, Gotta love her all the same for being so cool.

Re. your first page info - I feel I can reduce anxietys etc.. through meditation - I don't know how you feel about that type of support but, no religion etc.. needed - its a good way to 'put things in their boxes' sometimes!

Yes, Keith Olbermann has been the bane of the far right for a long time. His special commentary on youtube is so worth viewing. Even in a historic context. He's almost always right on the money. The only trouble is, he does have his preferences, and makes no secret about it. So his critics can accuse him of being less than objective. This is true, but the difference is, he works with facts. Not innuendo, or even outright fantasy the way his opponents like to do.
Rachel Maddow, however, is a new face on MSNBC, and she's just awesome. Here's a bit from her...
And if you'll miss Bush's mastery of our language.....well there's always Palin. She'll be around in 2012 I think. Oh joy!

Michael, I am not the type to yell at the tv screen very much, if at all, but boy, the expletives were flyin' that night. Flipped the bird a lot too!
Yes we do see the powers that be similarly. Here's Keith Olbermann putting it in perspective...Bush thinks Keith is the anti-Christ, I believe.
Thank You for your Friendship Michael! I so enjoyed my stay in the UK. That was where I met my first Cairn Terrier, and loved the breed so much, I got Augie as soon as I saw a chance.
