Will you share a most respected master of peace, that has lived throughout history, without regard for philosophy, or faith, or spirituality, or religion, or politics with the rest of us? Perhaps your favorite, quote, or verse, or saying, or teaching, or inspiration.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid", Jesus the Christ, Christian sacred new testament text, Gospel of John, Chapter 14 Verse 27

The Peace in this context is described as eternal life.
Buddha: One who acts on truth is happy, in this world and beyond.
Albert Einstein: Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding.
Black Elk, Oglala Sioux & Spiritual Leader: The True Peace

The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness, with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the universe dwells Wakan-Taka (the Great Spirit), and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us. This is the real peace, and the others are but reflections of this. The second peace is that which is made between two individuals, and the third is that which is made between two nations. But above all you should understand that there can never be peace between nations until there is known that true peace, which, as I have often said, is within the souls of men.
My dear Arjuna
she who engages in my pure devotional service, free from the contaminations of fruitive activities and mental speculation, she who works for me, who makes me the Supreme goal of her life, and who is friendly to every living being — she certainly comes to Me.
Albert Camus: Peace is the only battle worth waging.
Peace is active not passive
Cherokee Prayer :

O' Great Spirit
help me always
to speak the truth quietly,
to listen with an open mind
when others speak,
and to remember the peace
that may be found in silence.
Day by day...by day ...I pray
to see Thee more clearly
to follow Thee more nearly
to love Thee more dearly

HAWK
Peace is not the denial of war. Peace is a state of being in which all conflicts and all problems have ceased; it is not a theory, not an ideal to be achieved after ten incarnations, ten years or ten days. As long as the mind has not understood its own activity, it will create more misery; and the understanding of the mind is the beginning of peace.
