My dear friends, I am sure that no religion said to fight the people and kill them because they had another faith. No religion from the God prevented their followers to live in peace with the other people even if they have another faith. The people are who ignited the wars by the name of the religion and not the religion which ordered them to ignite the wars.

When a guest descended on the prophet Abraham, he (Abraham) slaughtered a sheep for him and after preparing the food for him, Abraham asked him; what do u worship. the guest answered " I worship the fire". Abraham told him to go out and do not eat. At the same time an angel descended down and ask Abraham. Oh Abraham, how old this guest. Abraham answered 90 years. The angel said to him that God blame u and say to u " If I (the God) am tolerating him and feed him 90 years while he was worshiping other than me, you (Abraham) can not tolerate him once.

God did not ask any one to harm the others but we are the human kind who harm our brothers and sisters and then we accuse the religions.

I so thank you for your time , Ali Afifi . " I agree ", is something that our species , needs to find
a way to work towards . If the geological timescale is correct , and Life does evolve , then we ,
the Human Race , are just the next continuing step , in growing Creation . We are just another
member of the mammal family , who have developed knowledge and intelligence , above the
other members of our mammal family . We are the logical next step , by bringing intelligence
to appreciate the beauty , of the world we are born onto . We are not here to destroy it .

Throughout human history , we have quarreled , bickered and argued , over who understands our
Spiritual feelings , the best . There is a GREATNESS out there , and we can feel " IT " deeply .
The more that we learn about , Life on this planet , and the hugeness of the universe , the
more the GREATNESS is realized . and felt inside of us .

Yet our natural feelings , of Love for our offspring , and Love for our beautiful home ( this Earth )
seem to diminish , as our Love for the GREATNESS increases . If we can come back to Earth
a bit , with our Spiritual feelings , the down to Earth part of our Love , can reconnect , with
our roots . Honoring and respecting , our ancestors and our children , can be restored , and be
what fuels us to work in Peace and Prosperity .

It is not a Prophesied , new one wold religion , but a reconnection to Mother Natures rules , that
nurtured our ancestors for billions of years . This has been available to us throughout history ,
but our species has been caught up in the acceleration culture , and the drive to improve our
world for ourselves and our families . If we recognize this , as adults , we can control our
destructive emotions , connect with our fellow human beings , our family , and work forwards ,
to Sustainability and continuing life for all .

I am not a leader or Messia ( spelling ? ) , but an everyday working guy , who wants to get back to work , and do what I was raised to , leave a better world for my , and all , offspring .

Knowledge and understanding , can help to control destructive emotional feelings . All our lives,
we have been taught , and we've learned , and we've taught our children , to control their
feelings . Let us now show the wisdom of the ages , and continue that tradition ,

Do you see any value , in these comments ?
Working towards Peace and Prosperity , for all . Sincerely Ron
Please, have all a look on the profile of Aqua. I've just seen it for the first time including the very impressing video (concerning religion and peace). Please, look at the thoughts, Aqua has written within her profile. In my eyes, that are very true words worth to be read.and to be moved within our heads and hearts.
At the moment, I don't have the time to read and follow this whole discussion (so many things need to be done in daily life). But this discussion hits the thoughts and feelings I got when I noticed that so many people HERE blame religion(s) to be an obstacle for peace.
Thank you, Ali, for opening the discussion and for your introducing words!
Sabine
No The religions are not the obstacles.
The obstacles are in the people .
Jesus said: Love thy ennemies!
But few man can do that.
I look at Gaza. I see a sinking ship. They are shooting arrows: SOS, SOS, SOS.We are dying here.
Than Israel says: You are doing that to track attention. Yes, It is a call for help.
Now the goal of Israel is to let them stop. But Gaza will only stop if they are all dead. They will shoot their last arrow: SOS
Hoping they get help. Who is going to rescue them?
Now the world say: They are all terrorists there. Both sides have to stop. And if Gaza goes down than they do not care.
But Jesus had said: Love thy ennemies and if they are dying you have to help them.
The world asks from Gaza, to die in silence. Israel will beat them to silence. May Gaza cry for help? If they don't fire the rockets , the world forgets them.
The west call themselves christian but they do not act like that.
So, I think that, if every one believed really in his own religion, that that could no be the obstacle for peace.

When some, so called moslims. had flown through the twin-towers. Bush as a believer should have said: Those were some young frustrated moslims who did this. Let us forgive them because they did not know what they were doing.
No, He took two countries for two towers. And now we see the films on you tube. It was really controlled demollition.
They did it themselves. That had nothing to do with religion. But they blamed a religion. It is faul play. And what Israel is doing now is faul play too. I do not know why the whole world goes along with that play.
America had wiped out all he inhabitants, the indians. Israel is going to wipe out all the inhabitans, the palestinians.
That is where it leads to if the world do nothing as just asks form Gaza: Stop calling SOS!
That has to do with power and nothing to do with religion at all. They mis-use the moslim religion to get their goals.
Dear Thea,
U are more intelligent than millions who were deceived worldwide. We realize that 9/11 was done by some Muslim terrorists under the authority of some USA leaders to justify the killing of Muslims and make the world clap their hands to them. The same event occurred when USA leader pushed the tyrant Saddam Hussein to occupy Kuwait as a prize after the war with Iran and then Justify for himself to gather all the world to strike Iraq and so on. It is a long chain of conspiracy but the world is in a sleep state.
Yes Ali,
And the muslims who get along with the USA were non believers.
When the US invaded in Irag a Belgique docter, who was working in a hospital in Bagdad, told on TV, that the plunderers came together with the inviding US army. And a muslim in Holland told that he was trained by the USA somewere in Europe ,to join the US army during the invasion in Irag.
Did you know that the Hussein, who was hanged , was a look alike. The real Hussein was killed in the beginning during a bombardement on his house. A soldier ,who had helped to put the lookalike in the hole , told that. During the proces the lookalike was on drugs.
People who lives in the US get very less information. Israel has a strong lobby there. Without the fiat of that lobby you are not able to get president. Now it is waiting for what the new president will do.
True Muslims do not believe that we are the only respectable religion, nor that God (Allah) spoke only to us, nor that other people do not have rights. We believe that we all have the same common origin - Adam and Eve - and that men and women are equal in the sight of God Almighty (Allah). We also believe that God (Allah) sent prophets to all peoples (125,000) and that He sent the Torah, the Psalms, the Bible and the Quran, and other books which were lost over time.

True Muslims respect Jews and Christians as People of the Book (of God). Islamic Scholars have also said that Zoroastrians are People of the Book and some believe that Buddha was a prophet. I know there are a lot of ignorant people and ignorant leaders out there who give the impression that Islam is backward, sexist, intolerant, and repressive. The fact is that most Muslims now are Muslim in name only and do not take the time to learn the truth of their faith. It is the same with the majority of Christians and Jews. Otherwise none of us would tolerate killing in the name of Islam, or in the name of Jesus...

Also true Muslims do not go on suicide missions - only ignorant people think that they can commit a mortal sin (suicide) and still go to heaven. Instead of getting a reward, their souls will be forced to repeat their suicide again and again until the Day of Judgement. I wonder what the punishment will be for the people who encourage them to do these heinous acts.

Think about this - the largest bloodless coup in history was carried out by Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his followers. Many people of peace have been very religious, for example, Rev.Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, the Dalai Lama, Bishop Desmond Tutu, Mother Teresa... Religion can be a tool of peace.
Thank you Sabriyah for this wonderful reponse. This response shows great wisdom and is expressed so well. I am glad that you have posted this. It has been so illuminating to me. I knew hardly anything about the Muslim faith, and I am afraid that I have heard bad and frightening things about the faith, from people who also know nothing about the faith personally. So many horrors have been committed in the name of religion and it is just terrible. People have done so many atrocities hiding behind the excuse of religion. It is people who hate and act with hatred that cause wars. Religions are just peoples writings about what they believed was right and customs that they lived by that was passed down through the generations. It is comforting to have a set of religious beliefs as a guide for living but it is up to the individual to listen to his soul and sense of right and wrong and treat everyone with respect and love. Not because a book says something is right. It is not religion that kills, it is people whose hearts are filled with hate, ignorance and pain and suspicion and it is not religion that is to blame. It matters not what set of beliefs one choses to believe, it is the compassion and love that they live by that is important. All religions have some elements of truth and some basis for belief, but because people are not perfect, there therefore is no perfect or right religion either. Religion is just a facade that hateful people hide behind to try to justify their own wrong thinking and actions. That is my opinion.

This discussion has been an excellent one and I am honored to have had the opoportunity to read what everyone has shared, and it restores my faith that love is still alive and that there are infinitely wise and loving people all over the globe that are learning that loving one another is the only way to acheive peace. God bless you all. You enrich my life immeasurably just by sharing freely of what is in your heart.
I am happy to hear from u. I read what u wrote about yourself and concluded that u like to be a humanitarian.

PPV News On Super HOT Boxing July 12

Canelo Alvarez faces Erislandy Lara on Showtime PPV on July 12, and spoke with Brian Kenny and Oscar De La Hoya last night during the Guerrero-Kamegai card.

Watch Canelo vs Lara Live Stream Canelo Alvarez (43-1-1, 31 KO) returns to the ring on July 12 to face Erislandy Lara (19-1-2, 12 KO) in a very risky matchup for the big money star from Mexico. On the undercard, Juan Manuel Lopez, Abner Mares, and more will be in action. Miguel Cotto “looked sensational” during Saturday’s 10th-round technical.

I was talking to a friend about the upcoming fight between former light middleweight champion Mexican Saul Alvarez and the current WBA Regular light middleweight belt holder Erislandy Lara, Canelo vs Lara Live Stream when my friend asked which boxing school is better; I told him that it is not about a boxing school or boxing style but more of the capacity of the fighters who display their abilities inside a ring at that exact moment.

ALL ACCESS: Canelo vs. Lara Episode 1 will premiere Friday, June 27, on SHOWTIME at 9 p.m. ET/PT and will be immediately followed by a ShoBox: The New Generation tripleheader headlined by Errol Spence Jr. vs. Ronald Cruz in a 10-round welterweight matchup.

ALL ACCESS cameras join Lara at his home in Houston to meet his family and visit Canelo in San Diego as the fighters enter training camp for “Honor & Glory.”

But he wasn’t pleased with my answer so I had to elaborate while doing a quick research on internet to explain myself. I think both boxing schools are great but their boxing styles are different as well as successful.

knockout of Sergio Martinez for THE RING and WBC middleweight championships, according to Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, Canelo vs Lara Live Stream who would like to match Cotto against Canelo Alvarez should the young Mexican star get beyond a July 12 clash with Erislandy Lara at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

This is the third time that Canelo Alvarez is fighting in MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas consecutively. The first fight was against Mayweather where he canelo vs lara live stream got his first defeat in his boxing career and the second one was last March against Alfredo Angulo where he did an impressive victory.

Cuban boxing school (I would rather call it boxing style) produces the best amateur boxers in my personal opinion; they are a force at both the Olympic Games and World Amateur Boxing Championship having won approximately: 31 gold, 15 silver and 12 bronze Olympic medals; also 67 gold, 30 silver and 24 bronze Amateur Championship medals canelo vs lara live stream. The names of Teofilo Stevenson, Felix Savon and Guillermo Rigondeaux are just an example of their dominance. Meanwhile Mexican boxing school has only produced 1 bronze at the Championship and 1 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze Olympic medals.

Now, that is not a definitive factor to decide which one is better because the Mexican boxing school perhaps is one of the best at professional boxing and his prize fighters have been highly successful. So to be fair, we are talking about pro boxing so let’s see how the comparison results.

Canelo Alvarez is currently holding a record 43 – 1 – 1, 31 of those wins are via knockouts canelo vs lara live stream. Do you believe that Canelo can knockout Lara? He got a lot of fans all over the world and all of them are saddened after he got his first defeat from the hands of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The 33-year-old Cotto (39-4, 31 knockouts) dropped the southpaw Martinez (51-3-2, 28 KOs) three times in the first round and once more in the ninth before the 39-year-old Argentine’s corner stopped the fight with the official time being recorded as six seconds into the 10th round. Cotto had fought at junior middleweight since 2010, canelo vs lara live stream moving up to a middleweight catchweight of 159 pounds for the first time to become the first Puerto Rican fighter to win a fourth title in as many weight classes. De La Hoya wants to see more Cotto against the Mexican Alvarez (43-1-1, 31 KOs), but first, the 23-year-old will have to defeat the savvy Lara (19-1-2, 12 KOs), a 31-year-old native of Cuba . “I would love to work with Cotto Promotions on a possible Canelo-Cotto fight,” De La Hoya told RingTV.com after Cotto-Martinez. “July 12 back from consecutive unanimous decision losses to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Austin Trout in May and December 2012, respectively here about the match canelo vs lara live stream . In November, Cotto turned downa deal worth in excess of $10 millionto face Alvarez, according to then-Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer, who resigned from his post on June 2.

Well that’s all I have for now. Just some small fun facts. Some are more obvious than others. This was a small article go here canelo vs lara live stream written for the purpose of gaining some knowledge on these fighters also to have a different conversation. What do you know that most of us wouldn’t really know?? I’d love to learn more !

Vargas has decent power and if he can stay away from Lopez’s heavy shots he can win by out-boxing Lopez and cruise to a unanimous decision. Lopez will have to get on the inside and rough Vargas up because he can-t win by out-boxing a boxer with superior boxing skills to his. But I see Lopez still the same as the way he was when he lost to Mikey Garcia. Vargas should win a tough hard earned decision.

While Guillermo Rigondeaux is an exquisite boxer and his boxing skills are simply superb his boxing style doesn’t please the crowd at pro boxing; but, that doesn’t mean he can´t defeat any top fighter from any “boxing school” be it Mexican, European, African or Asian. So to say a boxing school is better than the other will depend on the personal boxing taste. If I was a prizefighter then I would like to please the crowd just as IBF featherweight champion Russian Evgeny Gradovich “The Mexican Russian” tries to do to be able to have the opportunity to earn big bucks but if I was to fight on a street fight then I would simply try to do what Guillermo Rigondeaux does so masterfully.

The countdown show, brought to life by Producer and Creative Director of Golden Boy Promotions Leigh Simons, will provide audiences with exclusive analysis and commentary leading up to the PPV-event.

“They both knocked down and decisioned Austin Trout and they both stopped Alfredo Angulo in round 10, which makes for an unbelievable match-up,” said Simons. “This show explores how their recent successes against common opponents could play out against each other on July 12.”
