Do you think that Palestine will be free from the Israeli enemy? We want freedom and no more we want to go to sleep without hearing the echo of the planes flying around us what is your opinion on this issue? What do you think of a child his mother dying in his hands and he doesn't know what to do?

Every crimes against humanity is horrible. Even worst when conducted by powerful military State powers against smaller groups and unarmed civilian populations. All weaponry should be destroyed and burried. Palestine, Tibet, the Tamil, Natives around the world will be free when the military arsenals are dismantled and opressive regimes toppled.

What's happening on planet Earth? Have humans gone mad? We must put our prayers into action, join our forces into positive actions to co-create together a worldwide Peace Culture. We must teach Peace to our children and to the public.

Think Peace, talk Peace, stand for Peace, walk for Peace, work for Peace, pray for Peace... we shall overcome some day...
I think that the Palestinians should be free from military occupation, and all form of opression. For too long have Israel gotten away with with illegal actions against Palestinians. UN resolution 242 says that Israel must leave all occupied land, and retreat to the 1967 borders. That would mean getting rid of all it's settlements that are illegal under international law. After the US president asked for all settlements to be seized they have built one named"the Obama hilltop" in an act of childish defiance.
Dear Maram,
For those of us who do not live in Gaza, who have never even been there, it is impossible to fully imagine what your life must be like. We see a little bit on the television, but we can always switch the television off or change channels. We read about the suffering in the newspapers... at least in those newspapers which aren’t so blindly pro-Israeli that they put the whole blame for the situation on the “Palestinian Terrorists” and treat all the acts of Israeli brutality as totally justifiable “defence” measures. But if the reports become too uncomfortable, we can always turn the page. What would it be like if we couldn’t switch off the news or turn the page? What would it be like to live YOUR life?

I have written a cycle of poems concerning the death of Rachel Corrie. 12 poems so far, and 4 of them are supposed to be coming from the mouths of Palestinians in Gaza. Very presumptuous of me to write these poems without ever being there. But I wanted to do something! To raise a little bit of consciousness of what is going on over there. I would consider it a very great favour if you would read them and give me your opinion.

In return, I will try to answer your question and give my opinion about whether Israel will ever stop oppressing Palestine.

As long as Jews all over the World consider that they were the only victims of the Nazis - or the only important ones...
As long as they believe that this past suffering gives them the right to treat others now with the same kind of heartlessness...
As long as the Jewish lobby in the USA is strong enough to blackmail politicians into NEVER criticising the barbarity of a People who were once treated barbarically...
As long as there are vested interests in keeping the situation in Israel / Palestine in constant tension...
Then - I’m afraid - that Israel will continue to bully Palestine.
greetings, no you will not be free from Israel, at least not so soon. As long as Israel exists you will have a problem.
On the other side some of you should practice patience, violence is not the answer, behave peacefully, let the world know what the other side is doing to you. It sounds and looks strange outside of your region, you can predict that after a peace process there will be fighting over and over again, for months and years now. Who should take all these promises for peace etc serious regardless whether from your side or from the other side. Stay away from trouble with the Israelis you play their game, play your game focus on what you have and start living a peaceful live and have the world to participate in it. Long way to go yes, but I think the best way otherwise the shooting and killing continues and stories about Jenin etc are not finding the right response from the outside world. The other side will always try to come out with other stories and they can do so as long as you are always involved in something, hope you understand what I mean. Israel doesn't belng there and some of this people do have a nasty character they cannot be trusted but there is no way to get rid of them.
May peace be upon you
We all want peace. As for now, things dont look promising for palestine, yet we can hope the brute force will bend and new dawn of hope will arrive. People of palestine have had enough of relentless suffering. How long will Israel cling to its past and give back to the innocent lives, what once they received from Nazis. They should understand violence begets violence. I am sure there is no dearth of people who stand for peace in israel. Their collective efforts to bring peace in their neighbourhood will pay off one day.

Let not the voice for peace die down with the time but raise it to the height that world hears it loud and clear.
Luckily we have the Nazis but may be we can take the calculator or an abacus will do, take an age of 10 and add 63 years, guess this people is not involved in the fight against the Muslims. The women in Gaza that are raped by soldiers are facing young men, the children whose organs are removed are having a young doctor who is at least taking the time to apply a few stitches to close what he opened before.

Just have a look at the discussion topic Catholic Pries blesses 50 new machine guns being used against Muslims.

We should be all ashamed. Slingshots fighting against tanks. It nearly sounds like only a dead Muslim is a good Muslim, we need to do much more, we are always tolerating incidents especially when Muslims are involved we turn our back on them. They are human beings as well and they have the right to live and to love, to have children and to see their children growing up not being slaughtered.
I think that when both Palestinians and Israelis consciously choose to stop seeing one another as an enemy, and choose to begin seeing one another as family, the war will end. I pray that time is near.

Those who have a passion for peace will not look to who began the war, nor to which participant committed which atrocity - they will honor the one who puts down their weapons and says, "Peace at all cost."
