I hope that it is now clearer.

Using plain-text only would mean that there is no need for two sets of code. The disadvantage of that is that some may (and did) have a problem with plain text files as not all computers and operating systems handle plain-text files automatically in the same way.

Some of us have noticed that The Guide to Welcoming discussion has also gone AWOL.

For now, I've modified WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE DO. === PLEASE READ a little.

For now, I've deleted the reference to the The Guide to Welcoming as it really may be an overkill.

Other than more waffle, I think that the basic info really is in WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE DO.

Perhaps all we need to do is to improve WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE DO. === PLEASE READ a little.
