Peace is not a piece of cake; so we have to see it by all possible means including communicating with others around us without discrimination. We get peace after a long battle for it; we have to…Continue

When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I'm just a peaceful person
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Violence, Human Rights
So what is it?
war causes hunger and poverty; it makes people not have access to education. War creates violence in all its forms; ie human rights are at stake.
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Fear
More
fear will refer to that state of not saying the truth on what is wrong. Fear will shrink communication and once no communication exists, people are doomed or become subject to any harm as they fear to denounce it. Once more they need education for better knowledge and to get rid of fear. Prejudice will also be an element to hinder peace as it creates segregation among people.
Can we change the world?
Definitely

HOW TO MAKE PEACE?

Posted on January 22, 2010 at 9:00am 0 Comments

Peace is defined as the absence of violence. This is a kind of freedom from war and violence; particularly when the populations are living and carrying out their daily activities together, with happiness in a perfect communication and agreements. From this, we find that peace is involving everyone in their commitment. However, this is not a simple game we can do in a second. It requires that everyone seeking peace be united and work relentlessly to make peace. Sometimes, those who started the… Continue

I did not know that Gordon motivated the conception of ipeace; if so I think he is a pillar and even an old tree that is needed for the full development of i peace. I think there is no reason for him not to be with us. It is better to accompany people one started with up to the end.

Hi

It would be wonderful to add more high profile peace loving people to the members of ipeace... perhaps they will get to hear about it and join, you never know, there is no reason why they should not.

The good people that are here already do a wonderful job of spreading information and peace.

love sue

There are many ways of presenting oneself I do it through my writings *smile*

So much around us and inside us is sad so ”We cannot always Shine” that is OK. Admitting our sorrow and grief is the first step to healing and peace. And remember ”Grief is not a disease ”We can also find ourselves through ”Sagas, Dreams and Myths” within witch so much human wisdom is hidden.
We can close our eyes and just remember through all the music our heart and soul has saved, and we can share it with others in ”Unforgettable Music”
We can travel to get inspiration and understanding for our different cultures. Why not go to ”Sweden starting in Lapland” You will find my roots there involved in the midnight sun and the northern light *smile*

But you do not have to travel so far to find what counts the most in life ; ”small close things” which surround us all but to which we do not pay enough attention

Hope seeing you somewhere *smile*/Gunilla
