Hello Lynda,
My mother was a California girl full of the sunshine. I see your comments about the cultural aspects of male behaviors. I have written a book about that in a sense. It is about the culture that comes to this continent with our language, english. Do you know the roots of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday? They come directly with our language. They are celebrating the viking Gods Woden and his wife Friya and Wodens children Thor and Twia the one handed God of war. We are the remnants of a viking culture with the same root values control of wealth and resources with violence. My book is called This Tribe of Mine: A Story of Anglo Saxon Viking Culture in America. Our dictionaries define viking as 'someone form the north" but viking is actually a verb for armed men going out in ships and taking what they want with violence. The noun in vikinger. If you are interested please visit my website thistribeofmine.com It may give you a little more understanding of the roots of the problem you see with our culture.
Peace,
George

hi lydna, how much time we spend everyday talking, breathing, walking, reading, eating, wasting time, making love, drinking coffee or tea, i think this is our time almost tat all what we do, BUT how many minutes do we take to tell the whole world that there is Palestine is still under israel occupation and it should be free soon, how many minutes do we use of the 24 hours to tell BUSH that he is lier, killer, criminal and he should be send to the criminal court with his gang. I am sure only us the people who suffer from him and israel do that.
hugs

Hello Linda, I was disturbed by the blog that went up today, and, being a political kind of person, had mentally responded with a big jumble of images.

Then I saw your beautifully coherent response, and felt a lot happier about life. Thank you.

Love is always present, in the world, in nature, in us. What changes is our realisation of it.
Sending you a heartful smile from nature, dear Lynda.
