Black Elk, Oglala Lakota & Spiritual Leader (1863 - 1950):
The True Peace
The first peace, which is the most important,
is that which comes within the souls of people
when they realize their relationship,
their oneness, with the universe and all its powers,
and when they realize that at the center
of the universe dwells Wakan-Taka (the Great Spirit),
and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us.
This is the real peace, and the others are but reflections of this.
The second peace is that which is made between two individuals,
and the third is that which is made between two nations.
But above all you should understand that there can never
be peace between nations until there is known that true peace,
which, as I have often said, is within the souls of men.

good morning Andrew,
black Elks book has always had a special place in my heart. I have my own book now that explains the American culture of privilege, hoarding, and military domination from the historical/cultural point of view following our language back to the Germanic vikings that brought it to Britain after 425AD and then to this continent 1000 years later. then when this continent was taken from shore to shore we started out again across the seas and took Cuba, Phillipines, Puerto Rico, Guam and on and on ...... if you are interested in anymore of the story please visit my website thistribeofmine.com

Thank you for extending your Friendship, Andrew. I agree, all things come into balance. Water finds its own level. Hopefully, we can make that as smooth and easy as possible.
I agree with you Andrew with a new administration and an agenda for change has been voted in the doorways to profound change are within our reach but we must use our minds and coices to make sure it goes that way.

Happy Mothers Day!
Don't find love, let love find you. That's why it's
called falling in love, because you don't force
yourself to fall, you just fall.
Enjoy your day,
Have a good evening and
a night of peace and good dreams.
God bless you.
